Go on an Adventure today

You can go on an adventure anywhere – to your backyard, along a wood fence, in school, or in an office building. Take along a sketchpad and journal. Doodle, jot down ideas. Oh – maybe you’ll take a camera and take some pictures!

On some adventures, it’s fun to find stones. According to some native peoples, stones you find can tell you stories. You gaze at them and see what pictures you see there. What story does each picture tell and do they tell one all together? What does each picture remind you of in your life – or about you today?

Maybe you like a texture on one part of a stone. Does that texture show you a picture or two? Do any ideas come to you from the feeling you get from holding the stone? Is that part of your story time today?

Here’s a favorite stone I found in an adventure in a gem and crystal festival I attended. It could be the stone of where I live in the Great Black Swamp. This stone speaks to us in different ways.

Swamp Bog Jasper

What might I find in a swamp today? What creatures lived in prehistoric swamps? I’ll bet there were some kind of dragonflies.

Magical, Cool, Far Out, JEDI

Rub your hands together. Feel them get hot. What causes that? Is that heat thing like lightning without the snap crackle sizzle? Could it be in any way related?

Rub your hands together and now see how far you can move them apart and still feel something–heat, tingling, something like magic between your hands.

That feeling thing you do. It’s a kind of a sensing, isn’t it? It’s what Jedi Masters do and what some of the characters in the movie Avatar do. You can actually learn more about such sensing and develop skills to help you link in. One way is to study Reiki.

Maybe someone reading this feels a bit like you have magic hands or knows a child who is unusual. Maybe you see colors in the air around people. Maybe you pass people and you sense something coming from them–a vibe. Maybe you’d like to feel better or help others feel better–a parent or your dog or cat.

You never know, you might be a promising Jedi and this blog might be here to train you. It’s the beginning. It’s the hero’s call. Will you listen and answer?

If you’re curious or want to know more contact me, the POFFF Master, or find the lingo that’s you and leave a comment.

Action Sentences… to vamp your energy & feel more alive – Let’s Get Moving!

If you’ve dropped by to see what’s new: we’re doing a word detect and explore: It’s also a game with five answers. Answers at bottom of page and they give you even more. Pleeeze don’t look till the end.

1. What’s a four-letter word that means to “Mend” a hole in your sock? _ _ _ _-it.

5. How would you pantomime that four letter word with your hands? But what about with your feet? DO IT NOW with your feet. But take your _ _ _ _ _  off so you stay standing rather than slip-sliding away.

Well, that’s a start.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Just what are ACTION SENTENCES?

A string of action words – those that make you move in any direction – up, down, low, high, forward, back or side to side – in a special way. You could also move in place and you might do it with rhythm or a special kind of timing… fast slow… really quick or sloooow-motion.

Before you read more, see if you can think up a few Action WORDS and pick your favorites.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

See if you can find one or more HERE: Ready to rock ‘n roll?

  • Freeze or flow or do you already know how to groove and toss with words like these?
  • Don’t quote me on that, but if you can’t raise your standards can you at least meet me where I am?
  • What? You’d rather depart?
  • Snake it, shake it, flip or flop in unless you’d rather drop in.
  • Rumba, Cha cha… are you a dance number or do you lumber, slow and sweet?

Got the gist? Just a little twist and maybe you can snap your fingers, glance at the suggested words and figure eight them into… a circle dance. Come on. TAKE A CHANCE.

Can you contribute to the nation, or, are you glued to your location?

Spot dot Spot dot Spot dot… Freeze.

4. IF YOU STILL HAVEN’T GOT IT… Don’t spell the words out, do them. Fun or just _ _ way to start a dance craze?

Dribble sneeze.
Jump race stop squeeze.
Glide glide glide |walk sideways| sneak backwards| tiptoe now.
Wring hop gallop slither roll creep.

2. Meander like a gander. Duck Duck _ _ _ _ _.

3. If OJ means orange juice, are you T O’d that the first letter of this clue came at the end to confuse you? The first letter of this three-letter word sounds the same as this 3-letter word: _ee.

Scared, Worried? Use Your Energy Potential & Tap Your Fears Away!

Are you worried about lots of stuff?

Do you find it hard to take tests because you get so scared that you forget everything you know?

Do you feel afraid sometimes about the same things, but don’t know what to do about how you feel?

There are many ways to help you with what are called anxiety, phobias, and fears and the ones I mention here are from energy healing, or energy psychology, but the great thing is, you don’t have to be a psychologist to use them.

One way is Hawaiian and is called DMT or the Dynamind Technique. There are instructions on the linked page and they are free. There is a booklet you can send for and if you send a donation, Aloha International will mail you booklets to serve a group you belong to.

Another way was developed by a man named Gary Craig and is called EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. The POFFF Master learned about it from a father who uses it and has worked with young people. A school psychologist also uses it at Maumee Valley Country Day School in Ohio with young people, and it is part of a research project being conducted there. If you click on the link, you can send for a free EFT manual that will arrive by e-mail. There are videos and other information on the site.

Both systems use tapping that you can do on yourself. The points you tap on are actually acupuncture points, the ancient Chinese method that has a lot of research behind its effectiveness. You can tap your way to self-confidence, and you can prepare for and pass tests feeling calm and safe as many other students and adults have done using these techniques.

You can also overcome shyness and embarrassment that may stop you from being all you dream of being.

Besides these techniques, you can also visit the page called, Chamber of Energy (above) and breathe in the energy there that is called Reiki. The POFFF Master personally uses Reiki and Crystalline Consciousness Technique (CCT) to help her in daily life in situations where she feels uncomfortable or unsure of herself. She recommends both systems, and feels that they are very spiritual, though in no way affiliated with a specific religion.

If you discover something that works for you, please let the POFFF Master know about it by leaving a comment below. What helps you may help someone else, especially someone who right now is saying or feeling that these ideas are ridiculous, stupid, or faulty in some way, or has tried many things and feels that nothing works. Don’t give up!

Please note that even though EFT may be called energy psychology and that some of these techniques are used by therapists and counselors, some problems are best directed to a licensed professional like a school psychologist or a medical doctor, especially if they interrupt your ability to live your life. At the very least, mention reoccuring symptoms or problems when you visit doctors, school counselors, or other helping professionals. If you use any of the practices in this blog, you may be able to cut down on medications or avoid expensive or invasive medical treatments.

One last idea you might try is to take a little time alone. Sit quietly. Breathe in deeply three times. Go deep inside yourself. Pretend you have a magic map that shows you things inside yourself that only you can see. With your eyes closed, look at this map inside you. It may look something like the map Harry Potter uses to locate people inside Hogwarts.

Your map may give you pictures, images, feelings, or shapes and colors of energy inside you. You may know or feel guided how to best use or change that energy so that you feel better. Allow your imagination to bring relief by working with the energy or picture. Change a color, shape, or size of what you find there and then notice what happens to how you feel or what you find in your life.

When I locate energy that doesn’t feel good inside, I use a magic vacuum cleaner to suck it up. It’s a nifty model because it sucks up the energy and changes the energy it picks up. It shoots the changed energy like fairy magic dust or star dust out its back side away from me.

I hope one or more of these techniques helps you today. Energy fields also help you. If you haven’t read the blog on setting these, you might do that now and try it out several times before you have a big test or event. Let me know how you do.

Can You Crack the Code?

Code? What code? Well, the codes in your life, of course. Your code.

The code around you.

What does code mean any way? One definition from the online dictionary is: “Computers. to translate (a program) into language that can be communicated to the computer. “

You can find other definitions here.

To paraphrase, a code is something condensed, small, that may be in images like hieroglyphics or alphabet letters or numbers or be in computer chips that can be read only by a computer.

Cracking the code for your self and your life

or–your mission should you choose to accept it–

comes in four parts:

1. finding the clues, messages, maps, paths, trails, pointers, links, and so forth that appear in your life moment to moment;

2. following those clues, maps, paths, and links;

3. finding the messages meant for you

and

4. making sense of those messages so they help guide and support you.
